It’s been very encouraging and refreshing for me to immerse myself into the world of Psalm 23. I trust it has been as beneficial to the congregation as it has been to me. The book of W. Phillip Keller “A shepherd looks at Psalm 23” has been especially helpful and enlightening in the process of preparation. This coming Sunday, February 13th, will be the last one on the series. In the morning service we will be focusing on the last verse of the psalm: “Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” The evening service will focus on Songs of Praise – just spending time in God’s presence and praising him with old and new hymns and songs. So I am looking forward to a good week of preparation and a wonderful Sunday of celebrating God’s goodness.
